Antonio Lopez-Ortiz
Project Manager/CEO
Antonio Lopez-Ortiz, owner, lead engineer and project manager has held various managerial roles at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. before moving to the food processing industry in 1990. These companies range from Cadbury Schweppes (chocolate, gum and hard candy), Mission Foods (tortillas), and Tomatek (tomatoes). Since 2006, Antonio has specialized in tree nut processing (pasteurizing, blanching, roasting, slicing, dicing, flouring, sorting, grading) and packaging projects for some of the world leaders in the tree nut industry.
Todd Reed, EIT
Project Manager
Since 1989, Todd Reed has worked in the food and beverage industry specializing in machine design, material flow, food processing and packaging. Past responsibilities include business development, project management, equipment layout, and optimizing process flow and plant utilities.
Since 2007, Todd has managed the Fresno food & beverage group overseeing mechanical, electrical, process engineering, automation teams, and managed a panel fabrication shop.
Jerry Williams
Construction Manager
Jerry has extensive experience in engineering, and construction management with projects that include food & beverage, water & wastewater, greenfield and FEMA. Jerry has successfully completed projects for Kraft General Foods, Ernest and Juilo Gallo, Nestle, California Olive Ranch and Blue Diamond Almond Growers.
Christopher Belmontez
Project Manager
Christopher Belmontez has more than a decade of experience delivering innovative solutions across manufacturing, process engineering, and building engineering projects. With deep technical expertise in mechanical systems, structural systems, production-focused layouts, and detail design, he has contributed to a wide range of large-scale and specialized projects throughout California and the broader west coast.
Christopher attended California State University, Fresno, and completed the Project Management program at UC Davis (Continuing and Professional Education), strengthening his ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary engineering efforts from concept through completion.
Michael Hunt
Junior Engineer
Michael Hunt is a Junior Engineer at Process Consultants. Michael helps engineer, design, and detail equipment for food-processing lines. Michael received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University of Fresno in 2017 and has since been working on tree nut processing and packaging projects since.
Grant Lopez-Pentz
Senior Designer
Grant is a Senior Designer who started his career serving a tool maker apprenticeship in the auto industry and worked in that career for 15 years. Grant then transitioned in 2009 into a design project engineering role and worked for a general engineering firm who serviced offshore cable industries, paper mills and power plants. From there he moved into the food industry and joined Mettler Toledo Safeline as a senior designer designing X-Ray inspection machines for 6 years before joining Process Consultants.

I take pride in maintaining a strong work ethic, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.
